A colleague gets an account. So does a Persona.
A Busy Operator signs in under its own identity. You can share a Dropbox folder with it, give it a role in your accounting software, and create an email address on your company’s domain.
This makes access familiar. Sharing a folder is the grant. The Persona doesn’t need everything you can see just because you asked it to help with one project.
It also makes responsibility easier to follow. The service’s activity log identifies the account that did the work. When the job ends, you can unshare the folder or suspend the account, as you would when a colleague leaves.
Use the permissions your software already has.
Many business tools separate read-only, editing and administrative access. Some let you grant access to individual areas of the product. We use those controls to fit the account to the job.
A Persona reviewing the books can read reports and flag entries that need attention. With a read-only role, it can’t post a correction itself. An instruction to “fix it” doesn’t change that role.
Our own Personas also use corporate spend cards with monthly limits, per-purchase caps and merchant restrictions. Those settings live with the card provider. The Persona doesn’t decide whether its next purchase deserves an exception.
Access to your account is a separate decision.
Some work does require access to your own inbox. An executive assistant, for example, may need to help with mail addressed directly to you.
Busy supports that as an explicit additional grant. The Persona still has its own identity. The delegated connection is identified as such and needs its own scope.
The distinction matters: acting through your account can carry your permissions and appear under your name. We don’t treat that as interchangeable with giving the Persona an account of its own.
The computer has limits, too.
Each Persona works on dedicated hardware it doesn’t administer. It can use applications and handle files without gaining control of the systems that govern its permissions.
Account access, Busy’s action checks and the computer’s boundary work together. None of this requires you to share every login or give the Persona an administrator role before it can be useful.
