Come with a job. Leave with a handoff.

Stop wondering what AI could do.
Decide what it will do for you.

01 / THE ROLE

Know exactly what to delegate.

Turn “I need help” into a specific job: what AI owns, which tools it uses, and the result you expect.

Leave with: a role scoped to your business.
02 / THE HANDOFF

Stop explaining the job from scratch.

Learn how to give an AI employee the context, tools, and boundaries it needs to handle recurring work

Leave with: the brief for your first handoff.
03 / YOUR HYBRID TEAM

Give your people more room to lead.

Put people and AI on the same org chart. Give each a clear responsibility—and keep the decisions that matter with you.

Leave with: a hybrid org chart and a first-week delegation plan.

That report. Those follow-ups. The inbox nobody owns. Pick one. That’s where we start.

An AI employee needs more than a clever prompt.

They need a job, context, access, and standards. The same things you would give a new hire. In this challenge, you’ll learn how we put them together with Busy.

“Check inventory every morning” is a responsibility. “Help with operations” is a wish. Learn to make the handoff specific enough to work.

Busy works through email, messages, files, and the browser, all within the accounts your team already uses. Keep your tools while delegating the work inside them.

Your standards should survive the next conversation. See how shared memory carries the context forward.

Give routine work room to move. Require approval where it matters. You’ll learn to draw that line.

Give her a job.
Build a working relationship.

  1. 1
    You hand over a responsibility.

“Check inventory every morning. Tell me what needs ordering.”

  2. 2
    You teach her your standards.

“Keep six weeks of stock for our bestsellers. Ask before placing an order.”

  3. 3
She puts that context to work.

“Two bestsellers are below six weeks. I’ve prepared the reorder for your review.”

One example of a standing job. The history stays with Vera as you work together.

Your tools work.
They still need too much of you.

A shinier CRM is still a CRM you have to keep up to date.

An AI sidebar can suggest the next step, but someone still has to take it. Busy is built to work inside your accounts and actually get things done.

Start with the tedious, repeated loop: gather the records, check what changed, prepare the update, and follow up on the missing pieces.

You maintain the customer relationship, the judgment, and the final say, while handing over the repetition to the computer.

Still on your plate

  • Explain the same context again and again
  • Move the answer into the right system
  • Remember to follow up tomorrow
  • Check whether anything actually happened

A job Busy can own

  • Work from the shared history
  • Prepare the result where it belongs
  • Keep track of unfinished work and follow-up
  • Bring you the exceptions and decisions

Jeff Wells
Chief Automation Officer, Busy Inc.

I’ve helped scale a business to $200 million, started two, raised millions, and bought a brand. Through all of it, the same problem kept showing up: too much work still needed me.

I was employee #3 at Tuft & Needle and became Chief of Staff. We grew from $5 million to $200 million in revenue in four years, bootstrapped. Building software and automating the work was part of how we did it.

After founding CTO roles at Milo and Batch, I now run Wells Capital, own multiple brands, and build Busy—the AI teammates working inside those companies.

I build this for the work on my own desk.

Inventory. Advertising. Supplier emails. The work that keeps the business moving, whether I have time for it or not. That’s where Busy has to earn its place.

Watch the handoff—not just the highlight reel.

I’ll show you the assignment, the context, the corrections, and the result. Then we’ll apply the same thinking to a job in your business.

8 humans + 9 AI teammates · Illustrative team, proposed roles

Three days. One job closer to off your plate.

September 29–October 1 · 90 minutes a day. Each session builds the next piece of your handoff.

Tuesday, September 29 · 1–2:30 PM CT · Live with Jeff

Day 1: Find the job worth handing over.

Start inside Jeff’s companies. See the responsibilities Busy Personas take on, the tools they work in, and the decisions that still come back to a person. Then apply that lens to your own next hire.

  1. See the work

Follow examples from inventory, advertising, supplier coordination, and research—from the request to the result.

  2. Break down the role

Separate recurring computer work from relationships, judgment, and decisions you want a person to own.

  3. Write the job description

Choose a first responsibility, define a useful result, and identify the accounts and information needed to do it.

Bring with you

A role you’re considering hiring for, or a recurring job you wish someone else owned.

Leave with

Your first AI role: responsibilities, tools, and a clear definition of a job well-done.

Wednesday, September 30 · 1–2:30 PM CT · Live with Jeff

Day 2: Teach AI what good work looks like.

Watch Jeff turn a job description into a working handoff. Give your Persona the context, examples, and account access that a new teammate needs—and learn how to correct the work without starting over.

  1. Build the brief

Explain who is involved, where the work lives, what has happened before, and what a good result looks like.

  2. Connect the working tools

Walk through the inbox, files, browser, and business accounts involved in a real job.

  3. Review the first attempt

Check the output, correct a misunderstanding, and see how shared history informs the next task.

Bring with you

One example of good work, the instructions behind it, and a list of the tools involved.

Leave with

An onboarding brief and a first assignment you can review against your own standards.

Thursday, October 1 · 1–2:30 PM CT · Live with Jeff

Day 3: Give it responsibility. Keep control.

Make the move from asking for help to assigning an ongoing responsibility. Decide when the work should happen, what needs your approval, and how you will know it is getting done.

  1. Draw your hybrid org chart

Map your people and AI teammates together. Assign responsibilities, identify their handoffs, and decide who reviews the work. Use Jeff’s example to build your own.

  2. Put limits around authority

Distinguish routine actions, drafts for review, and actions that must wait for approval. Walk through a Busy approval request.

  3. Plan the first week

Choose a schedule or trigger, set review checkpoints, and decide what evidence earns your Persona the next responsibility.

Bring with you

Your first role and handoff brief, plus the decisions you always want to approve.

Leave with

Your hybrid org chart, plus a first-week delegation plan with a schedule, approval rules, and a review routine.

Your first step costs $47.

Get all three live sessions, worksheets, and replays. General Admission is $47 through September 16 at 1 PM Pacific, then $97. Want more support? Choose VIP or Platinum.

Who it’s for

For owners who are still the fallback for everything.

You have people. You have software. But the follow-ups, reports, and loose ends still land on your desk.

You don’t need to become an AI expert. You need to know which work to hand over while trusting it will get done correctly.

Bring the recurring job you’re tired of doing, chasing, or hiring around. We’ll use it to make the sessions concrete.

Show me how

Before you put it on your calendar.

When is it, and how much time do I need?
September 29–October 1, Tuesday through Thursday, from 1–2:30 PM Central each day. Three 90-minute live sessions. Bring a recurring job from your business so you can apply what you see.
Do I need to be technical?
No coding background required. We focus on the owner’s job: choosing the work, explaining your standards, setting limits, and reviewing the result. Knowing your business is the useful starting point.
What will I actually leave with?
A scoped AI job description, an onboarding brief, and a hybrid org chart with a first-week delegation plan. You’ll see real Busy workflows and prepare a handoff for your business. This is not a done-for-you AI team installation.
I already use ChatGPT or Claude. Why attend?
If you still write every prompt, move every answer, and remember every follow-up, you’re still managing every step. This challenge shows how to turn a useful AI conversation into a defined responsibility—with context, review, and limits.
What if I can’t make it live?
Recordings are included: 30 days with General Admission, three months with VIP, and six months with Platinum. Come live if you can; use the replays when you’re building your own handoff.
Will this apply to my business?
Look for repeated work across inboxes, files, reports, and business systems. That’s our starting point. We’ll use examples from Jeff’s companies to show how to scope a job around your tools and standards. You’ll also learn which decisions should stay with a person.
Is this a Busy product demo?
You’ll see Busy in action because it’s what Jeff builds and uses. The sessions go beyond a tour: you’ll work through the role, the brief, the review, and the boundaries for a job in your own business.
What about access and private information?
Access is part of the handoff. We’ll cover which accounts and information a job needs, what should stay out of scope, and which actions require approval. Bring a description of the work; you don’t need to share confidential business records with the group.
Which ticket should I choose?
General Admission includes the three live sessions, worksheets, community, and 30-day replays. VIP adds group coaching, notes, and longer replay access. Platinum also includes Jeff’s AI operating playbook and six-month replay access.
